Conversations Curator: Mari Spirito

Mari Spirito curates the Art Basel Conversations program for the fifth year. She is the Executive Director and Curator of Protocinema, an itinerant art organization realizing site- aware exhibitions around the world, since 2011. Spirito is co-curating public talks for Beijing Art Summit, 2019; in 2018 she was faculty for Independent Curators International (ICI) Curatorial Intensive, Bangkok; and Guest Curator, Alserkal Avenue Program’s Public Commission, Dubai, with Hale Tenger.
